Statement
La Huída, the third exhibition by Peruvian artist C.J. Chueca, explores the emotional ambivalence of migration, linking her experience with that of Latinx women. Curator Florencia Portocarrero uses minimalism and color to evoke nostalgia for the past and hope for the unknown.
