Born in 1961, Henry Jackson was raised in a family of storytellers involving , post World War II Pacific Island folklore. He was fascinated by the intensity and conviction of these stories that left an enduring visual effect on him. With that, his work always seems to reference or suggest some type of elemental existence - be it figurative, landscape or both.
