Drawing inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci’s A Treatise on Painting (c.1482–1508), and taking its title from Ada Limón’s poem, ‘In the Shadow’, this presentation considers the phenomenon of pareidolia – the tendency to perceive patterns and forms in unlikely places.
