To celebrate what would have been Joseph Plaskett’s centenary, Winchester Galleries Oak Bay will present a special exhibition of previously unseen work from the artist’s estate.

JOSEPH PLASKETT: The Centenary Exhibition includes some unexpected surprises including several 1940s pastel figurative works and landscapes from the artist’s days in Osoyoos, British Columbia. There are two wonderful four-panel pastel works of the Nile and a dozen small and medium canvasses including portraits, tablescapes and still lifes.

To celebrate what would have been Joseph Plaskett’s centenary, Winchester Galleries Oak Bay will present a special exhibition of previously unseen work from the artist’s estate. The exhibition will run from July 3 to August 4, and everyone is invited to attend the opening reception on Saturday, July 14 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Birthday cake and refreshments will be served.
