  • Photographs are inherently light sensitive and are therefore subject to natural processes that can change the appearance of the work. These changes occur in the course of ordinary use and can manifest in a variety of ways such as fading and color shifts, for which the participating parties in this Sale cannot be held responsible. Photographs are sensitive to light and mishandling. It is strongly recommended that the Buyers of photograph Items give proper attention to the conditions under which photographs are framed, stored, and exhibited. Among the considerations which should be taken into account are light levels, temperature and humidity variations, archival framing materials (with particular attention to cleaning agents), off-gassing of wall paint, and proximity to heating and aid conditioning. It is advisable that Buyers of photographs periodically rotate the works on display in their collection.
