In Another Green Planet, Giordani immerses us in a verdant expanse where forms oscillate between organic and mineral, inviting reflection on the blurred boundaries between reality and digital simulation. This work embodies the artist’s exploration of perception, evoking the "first sight" experience of uncharted landscapes.

“The title of the painting refers to the common appellation of the earth “green planet,” taking on different connotations here. The artist imagines the color green as no longer related to vegetation, but used as a means of creating a suspended and distant atmosphere belonging to other worlds.”

In Red Hole, Giordani constructs a striking portal-like formation, its vibrant crimson tones and central void suggesting passage to an alternate dimension. The composition reveals how reality and imagination shape the landscapes of our reality.

“The painting plays on the ambiguity of viewpoints, rendered by the central opening, which immediately draws the eye. It is not clear whether the viewer is looking up at an opening that gives a glimpse of a fragment of sky or is flying over a body of water, looking down. The composition suggests a sense of movement, as if this place could compress and expand.”

Indigo Grove captures a twilight atmosphere, where deep blue ridges appear as both primordial and otherworldly. Giordani’s interplay of shadow and gradient dissolves the line between natural terrain and virtual space, evoking a serene yet disorienting encounter with the unknown.

“Seemingly rocky formations, deep blue in color, stretch out into view, evoking a forest formed by rare minerals. The observer is invited to navigate with his gaze, as if he were walking inside this mysterious place, exploring its nature.”
