Alec Nierinck ( Life Is Art Gallery Antwerp ) & Hubert Kalkman ( Kalkman Gallery) started brainstorming about a collaboration end of 2023. They both wanted a basis for a group show. To keep it simple and also keep the creative process autonomous for their artists, the only thing connecting the work to the show was a wooden panel-box of 30x40x6 cm. All artists wanting to participate got one and they had full freedom. The result is a group show with a broad spectrum of artistic bursts

Life Is Art Gallery & Kalkman Gallery differ very much in choice of artists, but they have the same sense of responsibility towards their collaborating artists. Alec & Hubert are looking to accomplish visibility for all artists participating in this show. The strong contrast between the artworks will hopefully make them jump out at the viewer. And whether you like the work or not, each individual work will act as a portal to the rest of the artist's work.
