Pioneering Exhibition "Beyond" Set to Captivate Audiences at Abu Dhabi Art 2016

Abu Dhabi, November 12, 2016: Abu Dhabi Art will this year showcase the masterfully curated Beyond, a pioneering public art platform curated by Fabrice Bousteau for large-scale sculptures and artistic installations. The multiple installations of Abu Dhabi’s dynamic art scene will engage visitors with carefully articulated installations within Manarat Al Saadiyat and sites across the city for six months from November 2016 to May 2017.

Wang Dongling will perform ‘Monumental   Calligraphy’ live on Wednesday 16 November in the outdoor space of the   gardens in Manarat Al Saadiyat.

Nja Mahdaoui’s Douroub, is a mixed   media on drum vellum and wood installation at Manarat Al Saadiyat.

Giovanni Ozzola, represented by GALLERIA   CONTINUA presents Scars, 2013, a large-scale installation engraving on   brass plates.

Abu Dhabi Art’s closing performance is   Michelangelo Pistoletto’s The Third Paradise, (Terzo Paradiso), which   comes to life thanks to a group of amateur percussionists, while a series of   videos shot by artists inspired by the theme animate the garden of the art   fair on 19 November
