AIPAD Talks
AIPAD hosts Talks that feature prominent curators, collectors, artists, and journalists. The AIPAD Talks are held Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
A separate admission fee applies. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Special Exhibition
The Photography Show will present a special exhibition, A Room for Solace: An Exhibition of Domestic Interiors, curated by American photographer Alec Soth.
Exhibitor-Hosted Events
Exhibitor events including artist book signings are free with a valid Show admission ticket and are open to the public.
Awards
The AIPAD Award was established in 2017 to honor and recognize visionaries who have spent their lives at the forefront of the field of photography. The 2019 honoree is Sarah Greenough, Senior Curator and head of the department of photographs, National Gallery of Art. The AIPAD Award will be presened to Ms. Greeenough duiring the Opening Preview.
Photobook Spotlight
Aperature celebrates the photobook through a series of daily, in-person spotlights on individual books and publishers.
