Announcing the Art Toronto 2017 Participating Galleries

As Canada's international fair for modern and contemporary art, Art Toronto is thrilled to announce its list of participating galleries for 2017. The 18th edition of the fair will present 95 galleries from 8 countries and 29 cities.

Highlights this year include the critically-acclaimed PLATFORM Speaker Series, POWER TALKS presented by The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery, the Curator Series Art Tours, SOLO Salon Talks, Canadian Art Editor Tours, and a new FOCUS Section with exciting site-specific projects that will be announced shortly!  

We are excited to welcome 10 new galleries which include - Jessica Silverman Gallery (San Francisco), Mindy Solomon Gallery (Miami), Franc Gallery (Vancouver), Dillon + Lee (New York), L'INCONNUE (Montreal), Downs & Ross (New York), Galerie 3 (Quebec City), Macaulay & Co. Fine Art (Vancouver), and Jarvis Hall Gallery (Calgary).

There are a total of 87 returning galleries which include - Catriona Jeffries (Vancouver), Equinox Gallery (Vancouver), Daniel Faria Gallery (Toronto), Corkin Gallery (Toronto), Cristin Tierney Gallery (New York), Susan Hobbs Gallery (Toronto), Pierre-François Ouellette art contemporain (Montreal and Toronto), Josée Bienvenu Gallery (New York), CYDONIA (Fort Worth), Hollis Taggart Gallery (New York), Parisian Laundry (Montreal), and Olga Korper Gallery (Toronto).

Main

This established section includes more than seventy premier modern and contemporary galleries from Canada, the United States, Peru, Germany, Argentina, United Kingdom, and Israel. Click to view MAIN galleries.

Solo

Introduced in 2015, the SOLO section includes twelve galleries, each presenting a highly-curated body of work by a single artist. Click to view SOLO galleries.

Verge

This section is dedicated to galleries that have been established within the last eight years, presenting recent work by young and emerging artists. Click to view VERGE galleries.

Art Toronto is also excited to welcome the return of RBC as the fair's Presenting Sponsor, AXA Art Insurance as Show Sponsor, Mindham Fine Jewellery as Supporting Sponsor; and the AGO and Canadian Art as Lead Partners.

This year's fair takes place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from October 27-30, 2017. The Opening Night Preview happens on October 26 and is a benefit gala for the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO).
