About Art Wynwood 2018

Since its inception in 2012, Art Wynwood has become the a prominent winter destination contemporary and modern art fair in South Florida, and offers the most diverse, affluent and culturally savvy international audience in the United States. Produced in Miami by Art Miami, the Art Wynwood fair will debut its seventh edition during Presidents Day Weekend, February 15 - 19, 2018, at the former Miami Herald site, which also is the new home of Art Miami and CONTEXT Art Miami, and welcomed 80,000 visitors during Miami Art Week 2017. Art Wynwood will open on Thursday, February 15, with an invitation only VIP Private Preview benefiting the new Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami (ICA, Miami). This year, artist Logan Hicks will be the fourth recipient of the Art Wynwood Tony Goldman Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award.  

Art Wynwood reflects the dynamic environment of Miami’s burgeoning Wynwood Arts District, which over the last decade has gained international renown as the hub of South Florida’s contemporary art scene. Graffiti artists from all over the world grace the walls of this edgy neighborhood with vibrant, provocative murals that set an energetic tone for the increasingly diverse galleries, restaurants and shops lining the sidewalks.

The new location will offer a renewed connectivity to the 29th annual show where the “World’s Most Expensive Yachts are on display for acquisition”, with complimentary shuttle service between the two daily. The waterfront setting will also add to the fairs’ exceptional ambience as collectors browse through more than 70 international galleries.
