Her art consultancy provides independent expert advice and specialist services on all areas of the art collection process, with a huge focus on emerging contemporary artists, but also deals with the project management and strategic advice for various art-related businesses.

She is the curator of one of the most prominent private collections of Chinese contemporary art in Europe, and has consulted with private clients, galleries and auction houses in the UK, Europe and Asia. Mie is an art historian with a background in the auction and gallery worlds who is now focusing on helping private clients develop a deeper understanding of art. Her main focus areas are modern and contemporary. Within the educational aspect, she focuses on how to start a collection, how to be comfortable in the art world and buying art securely and enjoying it. With her background also working with young emerging artists and markets, establishing a platform to make art more approachable both for the artist and the buyer is very important. Conversations are key factors that make art more interesting and fun.
