Programming: ARTBO 2016

The 2016 ARTBO fair sections are as follows: 

PRINCIPAL

For the twelfth edition of the fair, ARTBO is celebrating a thorough selection of established, emerging, and cutting-edge galleries. 

PROYECTOS

In this section, world-renowned curator Jens Hoffmann presents a combination of artists focusing on the human figure in painting– celebrating contemporary figurative painting and inspired by Colombian masters including Débora Arango and Beatriz González.

REFERENTES

This section features works by primarily Latin American and particularly Colombian artists, who transformed the scope of art in the Sixties, Seventies and Eighties.

SITIO

The Sitio section features site-specific and large-scale projects and installations within the fair.

ARTECÁMARA

Artecámara highlights promising emerging and young Colombian artists.

FORO

This section represents a forum for learning and discussion about themes related to contemporary art. The discussions seek to expand the format of traditional art discourse by including performances. 

ARTICULARTE

Articularte is an interactive workshop and laboratory space that serves to educate the public about contemporary art.

LIBRO DE ARTISTA

The Libro de Artista section celebrates the versatile format of the book, featuring editorial content and artist books.
