About Art Basel 2017

Art Basel is a token art world gathering, which this year, brings together 291 of the world's leading galleries to show the works of over 4,000 artists. A full program of talks featuring artists, curators, academics and influencers, among others, takes place each day. Exhibitions and events are also offered by cultural institutions in Basel and the surrounding area, all together comprising a momentous week of art in Europe.
