Isobel Dennis, Fair Director, Collect

A very warm welcome to the 19th edition of Collect, the leading international fair for contemporary craft and design.

It is such a pleasure to share with you some of the many exceptional artworks you will find online at Artsy, as part of Collect this year. Selecting from over 1,200 images was no easy task and it has been such a joy to have my own preview of the fair ahead of sharing it with you.

Every year, our specialist galleries introduce new artists and new artwork to the fair. Our criteria states that over 80% of the artworks must have been made in the past five years. This ensures that we keep the fair fresh and new work is being introduced on the collectors’ market on an annual basis.

The breadth of materials, storytelling, passion and skill you will see amongst these pages will inspire you and, we hope, encourage you to acquire something for yourself. Do ensure you browse the booths as there is much to discover.

So here are a few rather special pieces that stood out for me.
