Ruth Freeman: #canitbemoreawkward
Preview Thursday 29 September 6-8pm
Exhibition 30 September - 29 October 2016

BEERS London is proud to announce #canitbemoreawkward, the first solo UK exhibition by New York based artist Ruth Freeman.

The language of architecture and the use of digital design tools inform Freeman’s paintings. Most begin as sketches made on a computer screen or tablet, using her finger as a stylus and utilising imported imagery, layers and eraser tools to manipulate the image. She is interested in the absurdity and uncertainty of translating these preliminary digital sketches into physical objects.

#canitbemoreawkward opens Thursday 29th September 6-8pm, and runs from 30th September to 29th October.
