PUNK ME TENDER, Flower Power (detail), 2018

Mysterious artist Punk Me Tender has recently launched a new series of works, akin to his singature style embroidered with a plethora of media and meticulous details. These new contemporary photography works are three-dimensional, embellished with silk flowers and real tropical butterflies.

Butterflies, flowers, greens: the media Punk Me Tender chooses to work with help create visual layers and hightlight the shapes, playfulness and beauty he embe the world with. In most of these works, his muse the model Faith Picozzi embodies the fierceness, strength and confidence of femininity.

Punk Me Tender is inspired by women, fashion and style and offers a new, more unfiltered look on the female body, claiming that desire is the biggest drive in our souls. Whether in graffiti art, mural, or photography, spontaneity is a vital ingredient to his work: he never uses traditional techniques or thought-patterns in his creative process. As the artist himself reveals, for him the combination of graffiti and fabric is an original approach that never fails to intrigue and captivate the viewer.
