A Kassen

A Kassen are interested in the juxtaposition between form and content. Often taking a common-place object to their starting point, A Kassen play with construction and deconstruction to reinterpret and re-appropriate the object and the materials. These subtle transformations function as a way of interacting with the spectator causing them to question their own understanding of the object at hand, as well as what constitutes an object and ultimately, what constitutes art.
