The IFPDA Print Fair Announces 76 Exhibitors, Showcasing 550 Years of Printmaking

After two years of virtual-only fairs, the International Fine Print Dealers Association will return in-person this fall to the stunning I.M. Pei-designed River Pavilion at the Javits Center with the 29th edition of the preeminent fair for prints. The IFPDA Print Fair will present 76 new and returning exhibitors, an increase from 2019, selected from the rigorously vetted members of the IFPDA and impressive invitational exhibitors. The IFPDA Print Fair was the pioneering art fair at the Javits Center and remains the largest art fair dedicated to prints and printmaking, spanning all periods and styles from old masters to contemporary and making it a must-see destination for curators and collectors. The IFPDA Print Fair runs from October 27–30, 2022 at the Javits Center (NYC).

“We cannot wait to be together with our colleagues and clients from across the country and across the globe,” said David Tunick, President of the IFPDA’s Board of Directors. “This year’s fair continues our tradition of presenting quality works spanning five centuries of printmaking.

We’re also delighted to present some new voices and visions in addition to longtime members represented amongst our exhibitors.”

“The online-only environment of the past two years was challenging, but also created new opportunities. Our online fair platform allowed us to deepen our engagement with members and expand our exhibitor list. We very much wanted to keep that ‘big tent’ feeling for our return to the Javits,“ said Jenny Gibbs, Executive Director of the IFPDA. “We are excited to welcome new members, new exhibitors, and new friends with two initiatives: a tabletop section which will be in a prime location on the main floor and our spotlight invitational exhibitors to make it the most inclusive IFPDA Print Fair ever.”

The exhibitor list includes 24 exhibitors who are new to the IFPDA Print Fair at the Javits Center. Additionally, nearly a third of this year’s exhibitors are internationally based, reinforcing the fair’s broad scope and reach.
