Investec Cape Town Art Fair Announces 2020 Participating Exhibitors
Investec Cape Town Art Fair is excited to announce the participating exhibitors in its eighth edition, taking place from 14 to the 16 February 2020 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre. Investec Cape Town Art Fair will once again offer a unique cross-section of the art market, representing the forefront of contemporary art globally.

An increasingly large contingent within Investec Cape Town Art Fair is made up of prominent galleries from around the globe. These galleries represent exciting, established and emerging artists with a presence in museums, bienniales, and important private collections around the world. For the first time, we welcome North African Yosr Ben Ammar Gallery and AGORGI both from Tunisia, Jahmek Contemporary Art from Angola and Galerie Veronique Rieffel from Ivory Coast. Their participation strengthens one of the fair's goals to provide a platform for more voices from the African continent.
Participating for the first time, we announce Belgium gallery Tatjana Pieters (Gent) and a collective comprising of 3 galleries including; PLUS-ONE Gallery (Antwerpen) Gallery Sofie Van de Velde (Antwerpen) and GEUKENS&DEVIL (Knokke).

Tomorrows/Today, the section of the fair which is dedicated to highlighting the practices of emerging and under-represented artists, will be curated by Nkule Mabaso (Head Curator, Michaelis Galleries, South Africa) and Luigi Fassi (Artistic Director, MAN-Contemporary Art Museum, Italy).
The third iteration of the SOLO section, will explore different representations of space including but not limited to the urban, domestic, architectural, and virtual, in a variety of media. Each edition of SOLO aims to present a more in-depth insight into the artistic practices of a varied selection of artists than is commonly found in the commercially-driven art fair setting.
Past/Modern introduces a new guest-curated programme by Joao Ferriera (Curator, South Africa) featuring presentations by Modern masters.
For the upcoming edition, the fair will present Southern Guild as a special project. Globally recognised for their leading African collectible design.
Editions showcases leading print galleries and workshops that specialise in prints, multiples, and editions.
Cultural Platforms curated by Tumelo Mosaka presents the work of cultural institutions and non-profit organisations who nurture and support the artistic production in the region through exhibitions and artist residencies.
The Magazines & Publications section showcases magazines, books, journals, and catalogues presented by publishers from around the world with a focus on art.
