Gundula Friese - DIE ZEIT

The work of Gundula Friese has been featured in beautiful reportage on the Koenig Collection that has appeared in one of Germany’s leading national newspapers.

The Koenig Collection, which was assembled by Gabriele Koenig, is one of the leading archives of East Germany photography. It has been the subject of numerous exhibitions and books, including a remarkable edition from Kehrer Verlag.

The highlights of the collection were featured in a special holiday edition of Der Zeit. The newspaper is based in Hamburg and has a Germany-wide circulation of more than 500,000 copies.
