Market Art Fair returns in 2021 with an expanded fair and new dates

We are pleased to announce that Market Art Fair returns in 2021 and will take place 17–19 September at Liljevalchs konsthall in Stockholm.

For the 15th edition of Market Art Fair, we are excited to introduce an expansion of the fair hosted in the newly opened premises Liljevalchs+, designed by architect Gert Wingårdh and Ingegerd Råman. The extension will allow for an expanded Market XL, a curated section of the fair including larger artworks that go beyond the regular booth context, a dedicated Market Talks programme and extraordinary presentations. A focused online programme will also run alongside Market Art Fair, allowing those who aren't able to travel to experience the fair online.

Overseen by newly appointed Managing Director Sara Berner Bengtsson and Artistic Director Josephine Van De Walle, Market Art Fair will as always bring together the leading galleries and artists from the Nordic region.

In addition to an expanded fair and new management, Market Art Fair's organisation has also been strengthened with progressive future plans introduced by new owners Johan Dettel, Jan Litborn, Staffan Olsson and Patrick Söderlund and Jessica Dahlberg.

Former owners Johan Ericsson, Frida Westerberg and Johan Hessius remain invested in the fair.
