Generally I concentrate on the artist as much as I do on the work. Consequently, when I select/acquire the work of an artist, I look at the artist’s personal art adventure, the continuity of their production, how they renew themselves, and the passion and seriousness they show towards their work.

My Selection:

Tamara Ferioli, Alter Ego, 2013, at Officine dell’Immagine Gülsün Karamustafa, DAVETİYE / INVITATION, 1981, at Rampa

Huseyin Bahri Alptekin, SEYREDALMA / CONTEMPLATION, 1999, at Rampa

So cool. So full... Nothing more to say. He is the greatest!

Nilbar Güres, BU KOLAJIN ADI MİSAFİRLİKTE / THE TITLE OF THIS COLLAGE IS BEING A GUEST, 2014, at Rampa

I love her style and the manifesto, as always.

Lawrence Abu Hamdan, The All-Hearing, 2014, at Galeri NON

Billy Childish, Frozen Estuary - Off Chatham, 1895 (Version Y), 2012, at Lehmann Maupin

I love this stillness and the quietness. The artist has a strong expression with this stillness.

Gimhongsok, A Balloon, 2013, at Kukje Gallery / Tina Kim Gallery

Less is more!

Alfred Tarazi, Blueprints For A Nation, 2014, at Galerie Krinzinger

I just love the way he puts the self into the scene.

Necla Rüzgar, Things That Weigh Me Down, 2014, at Galeri Nev

I like her aggressiveness and softness at the same time. She has a way of touching the inner self.

Fahrettin Örenli, Mingir, 2014, at Galeri Mana

He is a very important conceptual artist. He is beyond time and place; that’s what I like about him.
