"I chose these works in an attempt to reflect the diverse artistic expressions brought forward by the galeries that are part of the 2023 edition of Menart Fair – all of them focusing strongly on the 'Levant' region, Arab-Persian Gulf and North Africa. This selection is to celebrate the richness of practices, the abundance of narratives – and mostly the vibrant art scenes of these regions."-India Mahdavi
