The design firm Snarkitecture is a partnership between Daniel Arsham, whose background is in fine art and who maintains a separate studio practice and Alex Mustonen , whose background is in architecture. This December, you can see their work all over Miami—in fact, the entrance to Design Miami/ is Drift, a temporary structure made of inflated tubes (image above). Also at Design Miami/ is their seating installation Bend, and their work is featured in the booth at Volume Gallery. On view at Marlins Ball park are two installations: A Memorial Bowing and Beacons.

Last spring, when Snarkitecture participated in MAD’s Home Front series, I visited their Brooklyn studio to find out more about their innovative creative process and how they combine their art and design practices. You can read my post on their studio here to find out more about the images above (note: Oliver the studio bunny is an Art.sy exclusive!).
