In forms of sculpture, painting, and graffiti, the performer and activist plays with the style of the eighties; Hence, his references to Andy Warhol in his portrait of Marilyn Monroe, the Velvet Underground Banana, and his Campbell tomato soup sculpture series.

Pimax exhibits a critique of consumerism, offering a reflection on the past and present. His work has significant energy, symbolizing the vitality of not only our memories, but our imagination as well.
The red dog, Nourf Nourf, which evolves and grows just as us, appears a great deal in his work-representing the man in the city. Pimax twists fashion with a colourful touch of popular culture. This blend is the strong theme that can be detected throughout his entire artistic approach. He often collaborates with his street mates, Nature’s Revenge, Nemo or Jef Aérosol.
A number of his works are on display here at NextStreet Gallery, and the gallery will present him at the luxurious Village Royal on September the 13th, 2019.
“I try to interact with the context, so I place in the streets elements and characters that belong especially to the streets. I like to show things and people that society tries to hide: homeless people, smokers, street kids, and bench lovers...” -Pimax
