Performances
In a live performance, Berlin based artist Stephan Brenn transforms the facade of Tempelhof Airport into a poetic pictorial space of changing forms and structures with a large-format projection. Live performance on Thursday, 12 September, 6:30 - 9 pm.

Friday Night POSITIONS
On Friday night, 13 September 2019 Berlin based galleries participating in POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair open their gallery exhibitions until 9 pm.
Talking POSITIONS
Friday, 13 September, 5 pm at talk room E03Talk with Beatrice Miersch and artist Julia Bornefeld, gallery owner Carsta Zellermayer, and Manon Bursian, Director of Kunststiftung Sachsen-Anhalt.
Saturday, 14 September, 3 pm at talk room E03Talk with Mark Gisbourne (Art Historian, Curator, Art Critic), Drew Hammond (Writer and Critic) and Lorenzo Puglisi (Artist) about the contemporary ideas of the ruins of painting, including a presentation of the monograph edited by Hatje Cantz on Puglisi’s work and recently published in conjunction with the exhibition Il Grande Sacrificio (Milan). The talk will be followed by a book signing by the artist and the author.
Saturday, 14 September, 6 pm at talk room E03POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair directors Kristian Jarmuschek and Heinrich Carstens talk about everything - except the art market.
Berlin Hyp Award 2019
POSITIONS Berlin awards artists exhibiting at the fair to present their works in a solo show in cooperation with BERLIN HYP. Award ceremony on Sunday, 15 September, 1 pm.
Academy POSITIONS by Berlin Hyp
In a special exhibition POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair presents young contemporary artistic positions by graduates of German and Polish art academies from Berlin, Danzig, Dusseldorf, Dresden, Frankfurt am Main, Gdansk, Halle, Leipzig, Munich, Nuremberg, Offenbach, Stuttgart, Weimar, and Wroclaw. With the special support of Berlin Hyp.With David Amberg, Jorge Sánchez Di Bello, Volo Bevza, Max Broda, Nadine Glas, Paco Hoeller, Jieun Kim, Un-Zu Ha-Nul Lee, Urszula Madera, Arthur Metz, Sóley Ragnarsdóttir, Anys Reimann, Ludwig Stalla, Weronika Stanczak, Malwine Strauss and Julia Walk.
Selected POSITIONS
With Selected POSITIONS we want to offer new collectors a start into the art market. In this curated exhibition we present artworks smaller than 50 x 50 cm and for less than 1.900 Euros.
Open Air POSITIONS
On the airfield in front of Hangar 4 of Tempelhof Airport POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair presents selected large-scale sculptures and installations by Konstantin Bayer, Benedikt Braun, Matthias Garff, Albrecht Genin, Paco Hoeller.
