Entering the lobby of the museum, one is welcomed by one sheet of blank paper on the wall. Artist Liu Jianhua applies ceramic, the ancient art medium to make plain sculptures appeal as sheets of blank papers. Blank Paper can be recognised as the preface of this exhibition and constitutes a contrast against the way of narration taken by traditional museums which are equipped with absolute authority, thereby evoking reflection on those seemingly neutral descriptions about truth and history.
