Blank Paper drives the material even further to its extreme, achieving the imitation of one material with another. The neat row of pieces of Blank Paper, each essentially indistinguishable from the next, has a strong sense of Zen about it , symbolising a complete withdrawal from language — only when we are no longer dependent of language is it possible for us to break away from the prevailing concepts, standards and experience.
