Time Traveler had its genesis in the building occupied by the Rockbund Art Museum — the Royal Asiatic Society Building, which has stood here for more than eighty years. In a winding corridor-like space on the sixth floor we have created a small exhibition area where we have put on display what historical material we were able to gather concerning the Royal Asiatic Building. This area also hosts a small reading area where exhibition-related books and catalogues can be read, including selected theoretical and museology studies and journals, as well as artists' catalogues.
