Untitled Art, San Francisco Announces Exhibitors and New Ambassadors Committee for Third Edition at Pier 35 in 2019

Untitled, Art is pleased to announce the exhibitors for the third edition of the international curated art fair that will take place at Pier 35, January 18 – 20, 2019. This edition will feature 55 leading international exhibitors from ten different countries.
Over the past few years, the Bay Area has secured its position as a cultural destination and has garnered increasing interest in its market. Collectors, advisors, and curators from the San Francisco area have developed a growing enthusiasm for exposure to more emerging and mid-career artwork. As Untitled Art, San Francisco embarks on its third edition, it has recognized the importance of introducing a dynamic international roster of galleries to the growing market of the Bay Area and will continue to present a selection of both established and emerging galleries from around the world.
The third edition of Untitled Art, San Francisco will feature galleries from 16 international cities, including Barcelona, Florence, London, Los Angeles, Madrid, Mexico City, Montreal, New York, Paris, San Francisco, Seattle, Taipei, Toronto, Turku, Valencia, and Warsaw.
Several new exhibitors to Untitled Art, San Francisco will present the work of a single artist to allow for a stronger, more in-depth look at an artist’s work and practice. Bortolami from New York will present a selection of ceramic “paintings” and sculpture by Nicolás Guagnini; Five Car Garage from Los Angeles will have an installation of works of Alison Blickle; and Blain|Southern of London will have a presentation of works by Mat Collishaw. San Francisco’s Catharine Clark Gallery will present a solo booth of British born artist, Lenka Clayton's work and Nunu Fine Art from Taipei will present a solo project by Filipino artist Keb Cerda entitled False Profits.
Other new exhibitors will take this opportunity to introduce a selection of artists to the Bay Area audience. Mexico City’s Galeria Enrique Guerrero will show the work of four Latin American artists Colectivo Mangle, Beatriz Zamora, Isauro Huizar, and Pedro Varela. MAKASIINI CONTEMPORARY from Finland will show five gallery artists who have been an integral part of the gallery’s development including Ina Gerken, Jacob Hashimoto, Nir Hod, IC-98, and Matthew Kirk. Poligrafa Obra Gràfica, the print workshop from Barcelona, will present new editions by Matt Connors, Peter Halley, Timothy Curtis, Miles Aldridge, Jordi Alcaraz, Carlos Cruz-Diez and Olivier Mosset. Edwynn Houk Gallery from New York will exhibit a range of works that display experimentation in 20th and 21st century photography including Sally Mann, Lalla Essaydi, David Maisel, Valérie Belin and Stephen Shore among others.
A number of exhibitors are returning to San Francisco for the third edition of the fair including David Zwirner who will present a curated selection of works by renowned photographer Philip-Lorca diCorcia; San Francisco’s Anglim Gilbert Gallery will also have a curated booth by BAMPFA’s adjunct curator Constance Lewallen that looks at the development of California Conceptualism, past and present. Andrew Kreps Gallery will have works by Roe Etheridge, Robert Overby, Barbara T. Smith and others. From Toronto, MKG127 will present the work of three Canadian women artists Kristiina Lahde, Roula Partheniou, and Joy Walker, and Los Angeles’ Luis De Jesus will present the work of Erik Olson. Tina Kim Gallery will present the work of two contemporary Korean artists Minouk Lim and Suki Seokyang Kang, alongside works by great masters such as Ha Chong Hyun, Park Seo Bo and Lee Ufan.
Untitled Art, San Francisco continues its commitment to highlighting the Bay Area’s best non-profit and cultural institutions. Collaborators for the third edition include 500 Capp Street Foundation, Artadia, Chinese Culture Center, and For-Site.

In demonstrating their fair’s growth and commitment to working with and engaging the diverse San Francisco Bay Area community, the 2019 edition of the fair will inaugurate the Untitled Art, San Francisco Ambassador Committee, consisting of over 50 prominent collectors, museum directors, curators, advisors, and other local arts leaders. The Committee’s support has helped solidify Untitled Art, San Francisco as an important annual art event to discover and acquire artwork from prominent international galleries representing emerging and established artists.
