El Museo del Barrio: Live Benefit Auction 2023

El Museo del Barrio is the nation’s leading Latinx and Latin American cultural institution, and for our annual Gala on September 7, 2023, we’re honored to be partnering with so many of the artists that have been part of our work and supported us over the years. This special fundraiser is a celebration of the richness of Caribbean and Latin American arts and cultural history and a testament to the collaborative effort of everyone involved - including museum leadership, the honorees, the Gala Chairs, the artists, supporting galleries and sponsors, and the Host Committee - that make this event possible. El Museo’s live auction features works by Carmen Herrera, Candida Alvarez, Marco Maggi, Enoc Perez, and Liliana Porter.

Live bidding on Artsy begins at approximately 9:00PM EST on Thursday, September 7, 2023.

Browse artworks and place your bids online through Artsy or in person if you are present at Gala (The Plaza, NYC). Registration for this auction will close at 7:00PM EDT on Thursday, September 7, 2023.

Please note there will be a 15% buyer’s premium added to the hammer price of each lot. A representative from El Museo will be contacting all winning bidders to collect payment directly.

Works will ship from different locations, please check individual lot pages. Shipping costs and all applicable fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
