El Museo del Barrio: Silent Benefit Auction 2023

El Museo del Barrio is the nation’s leading Latinx and Latin American cultural institution, and for our annual Gala on September 7, 2023, we’re honored to be partnering with so many of the artists that have been part of our work and supported us over the years. This special fundraiser is a celebration of the richness of Caribbean and Latin American arts and cultural history and a testament to the collaborative effort of everyone involved - including museum leadership, the honorees, the Gala Chairs, the artists, supporting galleries and sponsors, and the Host Committee - that make this event possible. El Museo’s silent auction showcases art from over 20 partnering artists and galleries, including works from Bony Ramirez, Ilana Savdie, Justin Favela, Farley Aguilar, Felipe Baeza, and Yvette Mayorga.

Bidding will take place exclusively on Artsy and will begin to close at 12:00pm EDT on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

Please note there will be a 15% buyer’s premium added to the hammer price of each lot. A representative from El Museo will be contacting all winning bidders to collect payment directly.

Works will ship from different locations, please check individual lot pages. Shipping costs and all applicable fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

The countdown timer on the artwork pages will display the end time for the lot. Each lot closes in 1-minute increments and will be reset to 2 minutes if a bid is placed within the 2 minutes before the lot's scheduled closing time. For further information please see our FAQ.
