Figures of the Art World

Where there’s art there are people: those who make, transport, buy, sell, hang, restore, study, or spurn it. These people make up “the art world,” as amorphous as it may be. For some, it is an exclusive party or a venerable club; for others, a workplace, or still yet, an all-inclusive sociological study.
