Founded in 2001, Cristina Guerra Contemporary Art is a leading contemporary art gallery in Portugal. Representing 27 artists (14 portuguese, 13 international) and based in Portugal’s capital city of Lisbon, the gallery holds multiple exhibitions per year, often working with national and international curators subsequently creating a platform for exchange, expansion and discussion. Together with an active presence in national and international press, the gallery participates in high-profile international art fairs, such as Art Basel, Art Basel Miami Beach, among others. Cristina Guerra Contemporary Art stands out as an advocate for the internationalization of Portuguese contemporary art, through the representation of Portuguese artists alongside international ones.
