Jonathan Ferrara Gallery is proud to announce that as of January 1st 2024, the gallery name has changed to FERRARA SHOWMAN GALLERY with the ascension of long time gallery director Matthew Weldon Showman to full partner. Jonathan Ferrara Gallery was founded in 1998 by artist and activist Jonathan Ferrara as a forum for the exchange of creative ideas from artists working in mediums from painting to sculpture to video and installation art. Gallery director Matthew Weldon Showman has been an integral part of the gallery’s success and growth since joining the gallery in 2011. Over its 25 year history the gallery has fostered a national and international reputation for discovering, embracing, and promoting artists from New Orleans, the United States, and around the world.
