Galleria Forni is a reference point for figurative painting, sculpture and photography since its foundation in 1967. Drawing from a stable of established artists, the gallery has been renowned for its constant search of emerging artists.

Galleria Forni has been one of the reference points for lovers of figurative painting and sculpture since 1967. Photography by contemporary artists has been lately introduced. Over the years the Art Gallery in Bologna supplemented its activities with other art galleries: two abroad, first in Amsterdam, between the 70s and 80s, then in Tokyo, until 1990, and two in Italy, in Milan and Ragusa until 2011. After the death of Tiziano Forni, founder of the Gallery, his daughter Paola took over the direction. Since then, Paola Forni has been concentrating on those young Italian and foreign artists who, among the countless expressions of avant-garde, have chosen to express themselves through figurative painting and sculpture. Photography has been introduced, in year 2000, mostly new proposals.
