Founded in 1984, Galeri Nev has since held close to 300 exhibitions. While initially specializing in Turkish 'early modernists', the gallery's program has since evolved to include artists from the latter half of the 20th century and the following three generations.

Founded in 1984, Galeri Nev has since held close to 300 exhibitions. While initially specializing in Turkish 'early modernists', the gallery's program has since evolved to include artists from the latter half of the 20th century and the following three generations. Over the past decade, Galeri Nev has been an active presence in international art fairs, including Frieze New York, London Art Fair, Art International and Paris Internationale. As Galeri Nev is gearing up to commemorate its 40th anniversary in 2024, it is looking forward to continuing to delve into areas where works belonging to different generations, mediums or curatorial practices overlap, with a particular focus on interactions among women artists.
