Freijo Gallery was founded in 2010 as a project focused on artists from different generations, of Spanish and Latin American origin, whose work has been characterised throughout modern and contemporary art history by experimentation and critical conceptual proposals.
Freijo Gallery was founded in 2010 as a project focused on working with artists from different generations, of Spanish and Latin American origin, whose work has been characterised throughout modern and contemporary art history by experimentation, formal and aesthetic rigour, and relevant and critical conceptual proposals.
In addition to representing mid-career artists, and with the intention of underlining the importance of intergenerational links, we work with gallery stock: works by historical artists that have been acquired and in many cases produced by the gallery since its beginnings.
Since 2019, we have developed the LZ46 program, focused on experimental curatorial projects, with the aim of exploring new ways of establishing relationships with curators, artists and collectors.
