Galerie Lucida

Galerie Lucida provides collectors and enthusiasts access to exceptional works of contemporary art by emerging, under-represented, and mid-career artists working in all media. The gallery features artworks that facilitate conversation, encourage critical thinking, and enrich the community through a program of exhibitions, gallery talks, workshops, and events. At his eponymous gallery in NYC (2005 through 2012) Director Michael Mazzeo helped launch many careers, awarding fifteen artists their first New York City solo exhibitions and exhibiting 150 others in group shows. The gallery was instrumental in placing artists' works in notable institutions and collections, including the Metropolitan, Victoria and Albert, Philadelphia, and the Princeton Art Museums.
