On the 3rd of March 1993, the art historian, curator and publicist Dr. Ralf. P. Seippel started his exhibition activity in the gallery in Cologne. Since March 2001 the gallery resides together with 4 foundations, which it also advises, over four floors in the Haus der Stiftungen (house of foundations) in the Zeughausstrasse 26, opposite the Römerturm, in the heart of the city of Cologne. To date, Seippel has realized nearly 200 exhibitions in Cologne. Between 1997 and 2016, he was the first gallery from Europe to also be represented in Johannesburg/South Africa. Many of these exhibitions have been accompanied by extensive publications, as another profound interest of Seippel is art education. Currently Seippel advises the sculpture park of E. Asensi near Barcelona and other Foundations.
