About
Found in Paris by Claude Kunetz in 2011, Wallworks Gallery quickly made a name in contemporary and graffiti art with solo shows by French and international artists, and with group shows in which artists leave their mark on urban equipment.
Found by Claude Kunetz, Wallworks art gallery opened in March 2011 as a 1,500 square foot space in Paris’ 10th arrondissement. With its semi-basement location in an early 20th century industrial building, classified as a historical monument, with its white neons, floor-to-ceiling pipes and a freight elevator, it looks like a setting between a London cellar and a Berlin workshop. Wallworks quickly made a name in contemporary and graffiti art with solo shows by French artists such as Nebay, Tilt, Tanc, Katre, Kongo, Colorz, Poes, Gilbert, Fenx, and international, principally American artists as Sonic, Giz, Saber, Trav, Eric Haze, Indie 184, Cope 2, Hendrik Czakainski, Ma Desheng, Crash and Rime.
