Galerija Fotografija

Galerija Fotografija Established in 2003, the Galerija Fotografija is the first private gallery in Slovenia dedicated to contemporary and classic photography. It seeks to explore the nuances of photography and its many intersections with other artistic mediums. Located in the old Ljubljana city center, the Galerija Fotografija aims to popularize high-quality photography of established Slovene and international artists. Alongside exhibitions, the gallery also organizes lectures, round tables, and project presentations. The gallery entered the international art market in 2009, participating at the Vienna art fair, and continuing in at Paris Photo, MIA, ArtParis, Fotofever, Photo Basel, Art London... The gallery also runs a bookshop focused on photography literature.
