In 1987 Alessandro Bagnai opens his gallery in Siena.
The gallery starts working very early on with a group of artists defined as the ‘New Roman School’. Among them Giuseppe Gallo, Pizzi Cannella, Nunzio, Marco Tirelli and Gianni Dessì.
The predominant attention towards painting form the eighties is marked by collaborations with artists from a former generation such as Mario Schifano, Sandro Chia, Enzo Cucchi and other international names like Rainer Fetting, David Salle and Julian Schnabel.
From the beginning the galleries attention is also aimed towards younger artists like Massimo Barzagli, Vittorio Corsini, Daniele Galliano, Maurizio Savini, Paolo Leonardo, May Cornet and many others.
In the last years the gallery starts also a new important collaboration with Stefano Di Stasio.
