Gallery Article 15 is a unique gallery specializing in contemporary Congolese art. Located in Washington, DC, Gallery Article 15 features an extensive collection of contemporary Congolese art by emerging, mid-career and established artists.
Founded in 2022, Gallery Article 15 specializes in contemporary art from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Located in the historic Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, DC, Gallery Article 15 features an extensive collection of contemporary Congolese art by emerging, mid-career and established artists. We work directly with each artist in a collaborative process. In addition to ongoing exhibitions , Gallery Article 15 actively promotes Congolese art and culture through special events and programs. Gallery Article 15 also supports young, emerging artists in the DRC gain exposure to the U.S. art market through through the Gallery Article 15 Young Artists Collective (“Collectif des Jeunes Artistes A15)".
