GALLERY BAKYOUNG

Gallery Bakyoung, the first gallery in Paju Publishing Complex, opened in 2008, is the cultural support business unit of Pakyoungsa publishing, which celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2022. “Bakyoung” refers to the entrepreneurial spirit of the founder, meaning “nurturing talents far and wide.” The artist support project, which used to be an artist residence program, is currently holding exhibitions with artists of various genres through an annual contest under the name of “Bakyoung The Shift” for several years, and introduces convergence exhibitions with artists belonging to Bakyoung.
