Gibbons & Nicholas was founded in 2016 in Dublin, Ireland by Ciara Gibbons. The focus of the gallery is to provide a strong supportive touring platform for emerging, mid-career, and established Irish artists, through a programme of curated exhibitions.
Gibbons & Nicholas was founded in 2016 in Dublin, Ireland by Ciara Gibbons. The focus of the gallery is to provide a strong supportive touring platform for emerging, mid-career, and established Irish artists, through a programme of curated exhibitions at international Art Fairs and project spaces. Gallery artists have participated in important exhibitions and recognised with numerous awards, including Fulbright Scholarships, a John Simon Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship, Pollack Krasner Awards and membership of Aosdána, the cultural body that recognises major, sustained contribution to the arts in Ireland. Gibbons & Nicholas participates at art fairs and exhibitions in New York, Miami, Seattle, Istanbul, Beijing, Switzerland, London and Dublin.
