We curate 8 - 10 exhibitions each season with an emphasis on solo and smaller group shows. We do not specialize in a particular medium but gravitate towards more abstract and textured work. We also lead artist studio tours and art collecting workshops for new art buyers.

Founded by independent curators, Krista Scenna and Jill Benson, Ground Floor Gallery is Park Slope, Brooklyn's prime commercial art gallery. Gallery owner, Krista Scenna, champions Brooklyn-based (and bred) emerging and underrepresented artists by connecting them to new audiences through thoughtfully-curated exhibitions of original art and dynamic programming that provides access to these up-and-coming talents. We empower and cultivate new art buyers and introduce seasoned collectors to emerging talents by hosting intimate events like artist studio visits and art collecting workshops. We also connect local residents and small businesses owners to our vibrant network of talented artists throughout the exhibition season.
