Klaus Steinmetz Contemporary Art

We are the leading gallery in Costa Rica since our opening in 2000. We have currently two locations: the main gallery in the west of San Jose and a smaller one in the north pacific coast, besides an office in Lima, Peru. We promote mid-career talent from Latam in art fairs around the hemisphere, including Art Basel Miami, ArtBogota, Sao Paulo's SParte, Art Lima and others. We show in our locations and organize shows with partnering galleries in many cities, specially: Bogota, Guadalajara, Lima and Panama. On the other hand, we have been active in showing established artists to the local public, including shows by Peter Halley, Sandro Chia or Pino Pinelli. Our main building has become a center intercultural exchange with creators in areas such as architecture, performing arts and music.
