Each painting in our curated collection is handpicked by our founder and curator. Our mission is to develop greater appreciation and support for original Indian art not only within the San Francisco Bay Area but also throughout the US and beyond. At Laasya Art, we ultimately believe that art plays a uniquely important role in our lives, not only bringing joy and beauty but connecting us with our humanity and culture. The word Laasya, in the context of Hindu mythology, describes the graceful dance performed by Goddess Parvati to express happiness—that's how we see art: a source of pleasure, inspiration and celebration in our homes and our lives.
